One of the main attractions of Hyden are spectacular, exotic wildflowers, with particularly stunning displays throughout the Spring months.   Flower images on this page are at low resolution so that the page won't take too long to load. 

If you would like to see high quality images of these flowers, we recommend you visit Hyden. You'll have the added advantage of smelling them in their natural environment and see many more species by the roadside as you take your 4 hour drive from Perth. 

There are so many different species of wildflowers, you'll probably want  to stay a while to see or photograph all of them. For conservation reasons and respect for the great natural Australian environment, Western Australian wildflowers are protected and may not be picked.  However, you can buy wildflowers at the Wildflower Shoppe  which have been cultivated on wildflower farms at Hyden.  

Because wildflowers are so popular and Wave Rock is a world famous landform, we recommend booking your accommodation in advance on-line.
